They/Them

KT Gelin

LCMHC-A

I have a particular interest in working with OCD and BPD, supporting insight and more sustainable ways of navigating distress. My practice is LGBTQIA+ and non-monogamy affirming, with attention to the social and cultural contexts that shape our lives. My background in edible landscape design and horticulture therapy informs how I think about growth, care, and change over time. I create a grounded, collaborative space where you can be honest, stay with complexity, and make sense of your experience in ways that feel usable and real, with room for reflection and meaningful change.

MY APPROACH TO THERAPY

I am a relational therapist who listens closely to what emerges in our conversations, noticing patterns, reflecting back what stands out most, and drawing curiosity toward what we might explore further. I work with individuals, couples, and families navigating challenges in their relationships and daily life. These may relate to relationship dynamics, trauma recovery, identity exploration, neurodivergence, or major life transitions. The ways we adapt to what we've been through are often meaningful and make sense in context. Understanding these adaptations creates space to evaluate what is and isn't working and move toward more intentional, aligned change. My approach is developmental and trauma-informed, focusing on how our thinking, feeling, and relating are shaped by our story. I incorporate awareness of the body to recognize how stress and emotion are held physically, and I integrate parts-oriented work to explore the different aspects of the self without reducing anyone to a single experience. Together, we look at how these patterns show up in relationships — especially in moments of activation — and begin shifting toward responses that feel more grounded and intentional.

FUN FACTS

I love experimenting in the kitchen — sauces, dressings, and pickles are my specialty. I enjoy community events, performance art, and dancing. I get creative with home and garden projects; my happy places are lakes and beaches.
