They/Them
Lex Chapman
LCSW-A
I know pressure, I have experienced it as a professional dancer. I also understand living life as a non-binary person. I enjoy being able to provide folks not just a trained perspective but a lived experience of some of the challenges they may be facing.
MY APPROACH TO THERAPY
My therapeutic approach is eclectic and collaborative. Each person is unique, so the work we do in therapy will be uniquely tailored to you. Together, we will identify your goals and develop a path toward them. I have a background in harm reduction, which has shaped my belief that change of any kind cannot be forced or rushed. I will follow your pace in our work, meeting you where you are, and cultivating a safe and supportive environment for growth and healing.
FUN FACTS
Before pursuing social work, I was a professional dancer. These days, I spend most of my free time social dancing. I can solve a Rubik's Cube in under two minutes! I've gone swimming with sharks — and I have pictures to prove it.
