I believe your identities and how you move through the world are important and deserve to take up space in the therapy room. The ways white supremacy and other oppressive parts of our world affect your journey are often parts that go unrecognized by others. I especially love working with folks who are LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent, and/or have an identity that is marginalized in some way by our normative culture. I also love working with LGBTQIA+ couples around communication struggles and/or reconnecting after a relationship rupture.
MY APPROACH TO THERAPY
Often, some of our hardest work can be tied up in letting go of a version of ourselves that these systems want to maintain. Who would you be if you could break free? What would it look like for your old patterns and stories to drastically change? Therapy is a space for us to create collaborative goals that increase your empowerment and joy. Your power and joy are radical forces.
